question or suggestion you might have. Furthermore, the secretarial

your stay with us.
TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Our methodology follows the actual parameters of foreign language
teaching, following a progressive method according to the
recommendations of the European Common Framework.
You will start according to your level and you will acquire
new grammar and communicative structures gradually, and this
will allow you to improve your level day by day.
But theres not only grammar and standard formulas to
learn. We believe that to learn a language is important to
get to know the society and the culture of the country.
Our staff is trained to teach you the language in a typical
way, but as we are enamoured with our land and we want, as
our main objective, that all the students, who study in our
school, go back to their country with the same feeling. For
this reason, our teachers will offer an innovative teaching
method. The philosophy of the Mediterraneo school is to be
a center of cultural interchange, for this reason, the culture
and the knowledge of the Malaga society specifically and of
the Spanish society in general, is fundamental. In fact, we
have designed a different teaching strategy, where this profound
contact with those topics is direct and continuos. This design
will be developed in classes medio ambiente", classes
where there is a direct contact with the culture (monuments,
flamenco, art, markets) and cultural activities such as concerts,
movies, poetry, story telling, exhibitions: these events might
take place in different structures or at school. Mediterraneo
wants to be an open school, where we can create a welcoming
environment, where everyone, teachers and students, can suggest
ideas for the best development of the courses and where the
teacher is not a director, but a guidance for the learning
process.
Mediterraneo school, from
the 80s, is situated in the very center of the city,
a few blocks away from Plaza de la
Merced, neuralgic point of the social and cultural life
of the city (Teatro Cervantes, Casa Natal de Picasso),
at 100 meters from the Picasso Museum and at 10 minutes
walking from the beach. Its in the commercial and
entertainment area (movie theaters, shops, bars and pubs).
The building in which the school is located was built
in the XIX century, has five classrooms, an audiovisual
room, a small library with books at your disposal and
a secretarys office. Mediterraneo
school is a member of ACEM (Association of Centers of
Spanish in Malaga), having passed all the quality
controls that the association requires.
Mediterraneo policy is to have an
open school, where we can create a welcoming environment
in which teachers and students can express opinions suggest
ideas for the better development of the courses and in
which the teacher is not a director but a guide for your
learning process.
