General Courses

The general courses are structured in levels designed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Each level takes approximately four weeks to complete, depending on the pace of the students. It is possible to start at any level, depending on your previous knowledge and study for as many weeks as you choose. The classes take place from Monday to Friday, normally during the mornings but sometimes, depending on the number of students and the available space in the school there will be courses in the afternoons. The group classes last 50 minutes and the private classes last 45 minutes.

COURSE 20. This course consists of 20 group classes per week, four classes per day, the first two for learning grammar and the second two for conversation.
COURSE 30. This course consists of 30 group classes per week, six classes per day, the first two for learning grammar, the second two for conversation and the two extra lessons are for practising and reinforcing what has been learnt previously.
COURSE 20 + 5. This course consists of 20 group lessons and five private lessons per week, the day begins with a private lesson, the content of which will depend upon your requirements. The group classes which follow are divided into two grammar classes and two conversation classes.
COURSE 20 + 10 (D.E.L.E.). This course consists of 20 group lessons plus ten private classes per week. The format is the same as course 20+5 but with one more private lesson at the end of each day. This course is designed to allow the student to prepare for the D.E.L.E exam (Diploma of Spanish as a foreign language), the only official title that accredits the learning of Spanish as a foreign language, issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain.
