STAFF
Our team is made up of native Spanish teachers who are professionals in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. All have university degrees allowing them to use modern methods and establish a warm and direct relationship with the students.
All of the school’s staff are always available to offer their assistance to any question or suggestion that you may have. Furthermore, the administration staff speak several languages to assist you and make the time you spend with us more enjoyable.
TEACHING
Our teaching methodology follows the current principles in the teaching of a foreign language, following a progressive method in line with the recommendations of the European Common Framework.
You will begin according to your level and gradually gain new grammatical and communicative structures, allowing you to improve your level day by day.
However, grammar and formulas are not the only elements necessary to learn. 
We believe that to really get to know a language it is necessary to immerse yourself in the society and culture of the country. Our staff are trained to teach the language in the traditional way, but as we are passionate about our country, our primary objective is that every student returns home with the same feeling. Therefore, our teachers will offer an innovative teaching method. The philosophy of the Escuela Mediterraneo is to be a centre for cultural exchange and so the knowledge of the culture and society of Malaga and of Spain in general, is fundamental. In fact, we have designed an alternative teaching strategy, where we encourage direct and continuous contact with many aspects of Spanish culture. This objective is achieved with “medio ambiente” classes (exploring monuments, flamenco, art, markets..) and cultural activities such as concerts, cinema, theatre, poetry, story-telling and exhibitions; that are organised inside or outside the school itself.
